Birmingham Friends (Quaker) Meeting

Welcome to Birmingham Alabama Friends Meeting

Who We Are

The Birmingham Friends Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends is an unprogrammed, non-pastoral Quaker Meeting.

We sit in silence in Quaker meetings to listen for the promptings of our inner voice, which provides guidance in our lives. We find that the experiences we have during meetings can be transformative to our lives. Quakers welcome everyone, whatever you believe. We value truth, equality, and living life simply.

Our Quaker umbrella organizations are The Southern Appalachian Yearly Meeting and Association (SAYMA) and the Friends General Conference (FGC).
